Ufa Peoples’ Friendship House

The State institution Peoples’ Friendship House of the Republic of Bashkortostan is created under Decree of the President of the Republic of Bashkortostan dated April 19, 1994 No. UP-190 «On opening of Peoples’ Friendship House of the Republic of Bashkortostan in Ufa» and Regulation of the Cabinet of the Republic of Bashkortostan No. 278 dated August 17, 1995.

14 historical and cultural centers were opened for preservation of culture, language and traditions of any nation under Decree of the President of the Republic of Bashkortostan according to the state program «Nations of Bashkortostan». Since June 1, 2006 by Regulation of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan No. 85 dated April 13, 2006 the historical and cultural centers of the Republic of Bashkortostan were granted the status of branches of the state institution.
