CJSC Tander (Magnit retail chain) is a leader in the number of grocery stores and the coverage area in Russia. As of May 31, 2014 the chain of the company contained 8 517 stores. The coverage area of the chain occupies the huge territory which stretched from Pskov in the West to Nizhnevartovsk in the East and from Arkhangelsk in the North to Vladikavkaz in the south. Magnit chain is also the leading retail company on sales volume in Russia.
